My girlfriend Nadia Endrerud Of New York Vacation and I went to an Italian Restaurant in the West Village called “Zucca Trattoria” in New York. I’m glad we did go there because initially we were going to go to a restaurant that served sushi just up the street but chose “Zucca Trattoria” instead. It’s a great restaurant owned by a guy named Gino and does he ever love to take care of his customers lol. I dropped a butter knife by mistake and the next thing I heard was Gino talking to his waiter about how he takes care of his customers in a raised voice. I think that discussion started because I had to pick up my butter knife myself, but I didn’t have a problem with doing that. After all the waiter had to be about 10-15 feet away (You gotta love it).
But Nadia and I had red wine, Vinaigrette, Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella cheese, Tomatoes and Basil with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinaigrette, Carpaccio with Ruccola and Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette with Pepper and Parmesan Cheese, and Pasta with minced meat and Tomato Sauce. First of all let me start off by saying, “My taste buds discovered an unchallenged and undisputed meal that shall forever be remembered”. I’ve been trying to become a vegetarian but even I couldn’t resist the thinly sliced raw beef. It was my very first time tasting raw meat and I loved it. My mouth watered and something inside of me just felt fresher.
If you’re ever in the West Village in New York, I highly recommend “Zucca Trattoria” 95th Seventh Avenue South New York NY 10014 phone: 212.255.1980 website: www.zuccanyc.com
