The Italian explorer, navigator, and colonizer, Christopher Columbus, “changed the world”. When everyone believed the world was flat, he said, “NO! It is round”. He didn’t believe in popular “opinion” because everyone else did and thought it was cool. He showed and proved why he believed what he believed. Sure he ended up in the wrong place but he still proved that opinions are never fact unless they can be proven. And that’s why you know his name 500 years after his departure.
