Reputed Philadelphia mob boss Joseph (Skinny Joey) Merlino’s racketeering trial will be postponed until the end of January following his heart problems, court proceedings revealed.
Merlino’s Manhattan Federal Court case was originally scheduled to start Tuesday morning. But his lawyers requested an adjournment last week telling Judge Richard Sullivan that Merlino went to a Boca Raton emergency room on Jan. 9 for “chest pains and coronary spasms and shortness of breath.” Read more by clicking here: NYDaileyNews
