A man has been shot dead by officers in a “terrorist-related” incident in south London, the Met Police have said.

It is believed two people have been injured in stabbings on Streatham High Road, police said.

Witnesses on social media said they heard three gun shots fired just after 14:00 GMT on Sunday and saw people being treated by paramedics.

Police said the scene had been “fully contained” and it was awaiting updates on the condition of those injured.
