BACK2THEFRESH (EX) Yesterday afternoon I stopped by Stone Island in Soho on Greene Street. I haven’t been in Soho since autumn 2018. That’s when I fingered through YSL, Versus Versace, and Stone Island in search of something new. I don’t know what’s going on with Versus Versace because of construction or relocation. But after leaving YSL once again, I slid inside of Stone Island, where store manager, Niccolo Colzi was more than welcome to help me.

I asked about the Spring/Summer Shadow Project Collection. Stone Islands Shadow Project Collection is designed with an exclusive pattern called DPM RIPSTOP DEVORE, composed with HOLLOWCORE POLY LIGHT, incorporated with REN MESH, and features GORE-TEX PACLITE.

Niccolo said that Stone Island has been in business since the early 80’s, and that some of the water resistant material last for about 30 years.

Stone Islands Shadow Project is definitely impressive.

When the Store manager Niccolo told me what his name was, I told him that it was ironic how the other night I’d picked up a book called The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli from a free book-stop. And he said that not only was his name Niccolo like The Prince’s author, but he was also from Florence, Italy as he also was.
